Stops snow from getting inside
This snowboard jacket is designed to stop snow from getting inside:
_ at the back: snow skirt and longline cut for sitting down in the snow,
_ at the cuffs (very exposed area): long sleeves and cuffs with thumb holes to prevent snow from entering,
_ at the neck: collar with a gusset that goes up high/hood with a rip-tab to keep it rolled up in the upper position, and protect the neck
The hood also fits over a helmet.
Warmth
For the warmth, this jacket has 2 different types of fill to provide just the right level of warmth:
_ 150 g/m² for the body, with an additional fleece lining,
_ 100 g/m² for the sleeves.
Waterproofing
In addition to the waterproof fabric, we improved the waterproofing of the 500 snowboard jacket with taped seams. The adhesive and waterproof strips are placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. For this product, all the seams (100%) are taped.
What is the water-repellent feature of my jacket for?
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability for water to form on the surface without being absorbed because of a treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric. The fabric does not soak up water and stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the life of the product, after 2 to 3 washes on average, using products available in our stores. All the waterproof jackets that we design for snowboarders are water-repellent.
5 pockets
This snowboard jacket is designed for regular to intensive snowboarding. It also has all the pockets you need:
_ 2 side pockets closed with a zipper,
_ 1 external chest pocket closed with a zipper,
_ 1 interior chest pocket closed with a zipper, with an audio outlet for earphones,
_ 1 ski pass pocket on the left sleeve closed with a zipper.
Hood rolled under the helmet
When snowboarding, you will fall and snow can get into the jacket. In order to make the experience as pleasant as possible, the collar and hood were designed as a unit.
For the hood to be used as a scarf and prevent snow from entering, you must fold the hood twice and attach the hook so that it stays high and fills the empty space beneath the helmet.
The collar must be closed normally, up to the top, in order to keep everything tight.
Hood over the helmet
The hood of this jacket is designed to fit over a helmet, in case of strong winds, heavy snowfall, etc.
In this position, open the collar of the jacket by about 4", pull the hood over the helmet, and simply close the collar with the gusset (rip-tab closure). The gusset creates a well protected area for the mouth and nose.
How does my product warranty work?
This product is guaranteed for 5 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.

How do I look after my product?
To optimize the performance and durability of your product, we recommend: Machine wash separately at 86°F. Synthetics cycle. Turn the product inside out. Use a small amount of detergent. No fabric softener. Wring by hand. Dry on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated place. Do not dry-clean. Do not place on a radiator. You can restore the water-resistance of the outer fabric using a fabric waterproofing spray.
